Below you will find the most frequently asked questions regarding membership at Bremen 1860. Feel free to approach our employees at the main office should you have any further questionis.
Download the application form or pick it up at the main office, fill in the form, sign it and send it via mail or letter. Both parents or legal guardians have to sign the form when registering minors.
You may purchase a temporary pass which costs 10,- € and will allow you to participate in any class or course for two weeks. Should you decide to submit a membership application afterwards the cost will be discounted towards the admission fee. You may also acquire a one-time admission pass to a certain course. The one-time admission pass is free.
Starting date of the membership is the first of the month if the application was submitted before the 15th of the current month.

Yes, but they will only be warranted for the validated duration and do not extend automatically. Discounts will only be granted through continous submittal of proper certification and is valid on submittal. Backdated validation is not possible.
The fee will be charged until the 5th banking day of the month. If an invoice is filed an additional fee of 2,-€ is due. Yearly fees may be paid every twelve, six or three months.
After registering additional family members the single membership will be switched to family membership if the membership fee is charged to the same bank account.
How do I switch departments within the club and are there any rules to consider?
Switching departments is only possible by December 31st (exception: ballet and RSG by June 30th). Notice and registration for the new department need to be made in writing to the main office.
A new membership card can be acquired at the main office for an additional 2,- €.
What is the training schedule during school holidays?
A brochure with information about schedules during holiday season will be available online or at the main office.
Termination is only possible by December 31st each year, written notice has to be handed in by September 30th.
If the member is incapable (for example because of a sickness or injury) or absent (for example because of a long-term trip) for at least two months the payment for the membership can be skipped for that time. A proof of the absence or medical records has to be handed over to Bremen 1860 before the start of the membership break. There will be no backdated reimbursement.
